ASC Architects has been engaged to design the E5 Superblock, which is the first of the proposed apartment projects. This block consists of 3 buildings orientated on a north/south axis and positioned along the streets to the west and east boundaries of the superblock. It will comprise 196 apartments with 218 basement car parks and 80 cycle parking spaces..
The design intention for Market Cove is for an urban precinct that incorporates the positive aspects of city living, together with community and affordability being key drivers. The buildings are designed to have a strong relationship with the surrounding streets and each block is served by high quality amenity open space. The six storey buildings to the western boundary are built to the street edge in order to reinforce the urban qualities of that street. The four-storey building on the eastern boundary is set back from the lane to lend a softer and more suburban feel to that frontage
