Ranfurly House & Retirement Village
Ranfurly Retirement Village in Mt Albert comprises the adaptive reuse of heritage-listed Ranfurly House, six new apartment buildings, a total of 193 dwellings and a 60-bed hospital.
Eyes & Eyelids
ASC Architects were commissioned to design a new boutique eye clinic for providing specialist ophthalmic care and cataract surgery. Located at 1 St Marks Road, Remuera, the site is owned by the Anglican Parish of Remuera and the new eye clinic neighbours the historic St Marks Church.
Mercy Pet-CT
ASC Architects have completed work on the PET CT Clinic fitout for Mercy Radiology following a 2 year design and documentation process followed by the construction in 2010. This facility is only the second of its kind in New Zealand and first in Auckland.
NZ Centre for Conservation Medicine, Auckland Zoo
The changing role of a modern zoo is reflected in this striking building: the state-of-the-art facility is the first national centre for conservation medicine anywhere in the world.
The design had to promote the zoo's involvement in the wider issues of endangered species preservation, and the ways in which the health of wildlife and human populations are interlinked. So, as well as meeting the day to day healthcare requirements of the park's inhabitants, the building had to include a public education component.
Ronald McDonald House & Extensions
Ronald McDonald House is a home away from home for families of children with life threatening conditions who are receiving treatment at Auckland Hospital.
We were commissioned to deliver from concept design through to the provision of construction management services and, subsequently, to complete two major extensions to the house.
